The problem with titles is that I can either limit myself with one easily identifiable label, such as Writer or Videographer, or I can summarize all of my abilities with something accurate, yet obtusely vague, such as Digital Media Producer.

Put more simply, my goal is to share my passions through the creation of digital media.

I am constantly driven to adopt new technologies and learn new skills, but always with the purpose of engaging, entertaining, and informing audiences. I am a backpack journalist for the modern age, capable of constructing websites, creating written and visual media, promoting content, and building communities. Take a look at No High Scores for an example. I gave the website a complete visual overhaul, transferred to a new CMS, and kickstarted our social media presence.

Video production has long been a part of my life, and I knew I was capable of more polish than the tight deadlines of the press allowed. Thus, I formed my own company, Raw Mercury Media, as a means of reinventing and expanding my portfolio.

Fun Facts:
- I organized a film festival back in my student days. I garnered space at Turner Hall, poured through submissions, prepped the gear, conscripted a DJ and hip-hop group, and all that other fun stuff. You might know this event now as the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival.
